1. Introduction

LiveWire (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a real-time social discovery app that helps people connect with others nearby. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with (and don’t), and the choices you have.

By using LiveWire, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

LiveWire is operated by Heavy925 LLC, based in California, USA.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: Phone number, email address (if provided), and password
  • Profile information: Your name, age, photos, bio, prompts, interests, work history, education, and any other details you choose to add to your profile
  • Communications: Messages, voice calls, and video calls you make through the app
  • Reports and feedback: If you report another user or contact support, we keep a record of the report and any details you provide

Information we collect automatically

  • Location data: Your approximate and precise location (with your explicit permission) to show you who’s nearby. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
  • Device information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language, and time zone
  • Usage data: Features you use, screens you view, actions you take, and how often you open the app
  • Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs

Information from other sources

  • Authentication providers: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID and email (you may choose to hide your email via Apple’s Private Relay)
  • Push notification tokens: To deliver notifications to your device

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the core LiveWire service — showing you who’s nearby, enabling discovery, messaging, and calls
  • Match you with relevant people based on proximity, interests, and profile information
  • Send you notifications (proximity alerts, messages, call invitations) — you control these in app settings
  • Process voice and video calls with end-to-end encryption
  • Maintain trust and safety — review reports, enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud and abuse
  • Improve the app — fix bugs, develop new features, understand how people use LiveWire
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising or to build profiles for third parties.

4. What We Do NOT Do

  • We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties
  • We do NOT share your messages, calls, or private content with anyone outside the conversation
  • We do NOT display ads in the app, and we do not let advertisers target you based on your data
  • We do NOT track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes
  • We do NOT use your photos or content to train AI models without your explicit consent
  • We do NOT share your precise location with other users — we only show approximate proximity through the Find Nearby feature, which both parties must opt into

5. End-to-End Encryption

Voice and video calls on LiveWire are encrypted end-to-end. Direct messages are encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • The content of your calls is encrypted on your device before being sent
  • We do not have the ability to listen to your calls
  • Encryption keys for your calls are stored on your device, not on our servers

What we can see (and may store for service operation): the fact that a conversation occurred between two users, timestamps, and message metadata. This is necessary to deliver messages and detect abuse patterns.

6. Who We Share Information With

We only share your information in these limited circumstances:

Other LiveWire users

Your profile (name, photos, age, bio, prompts, interests) is visible to other users you interact with or who are nearby. You control what goes in your profile.

Service providers

We work with service providers to operate LiveWire. Each is contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we direct:

  • Cloud infrastructure and database providers — Used to host the service, store your account and content, and authenticate users
  • Communications infrastructure — Used to route calls and deliver notifications and emails
  • AI service providers — Used to power search and matching features
  • Analytics and crash reporting — Used to understand app usage and fix bugs

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or valid legal process. We will challenge requests that we believe are overbroad or unlawful, and we will notify you if legally permitted to do so.

Business transfers

If LiveWire is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer to the new entity. We will notify you and you’ll have the option to delete your account before any transfer takes effect.

Safety and trust

We may share information with law enforcement or other parties if we believe in good faith it’s necessary to prevent imminent harm, investigate fraud, or enforce our Terms of Service.

7. Your Choices and Controls

Profile and discoverability

  • You control what’s in your profile and can edit or delete any field at any time
  • You can block users who you don’t want to interact with — blocked users cannot see your profile, message, or call you
  • You can hide your profile from discovery entirely in Settings → Privacy

Location and proximity

  • You can disable location access in iOS Settings → LiveWire at any time
  • You can disable Find Nearby in Settings → Privacy & Safety
  • You can control who can find you (Everyone / Connections Only) in Settings → Privacy & Safety

Notifications

  • You can disable any notification type in Settings → Notifications
  • You can disable all notifications in iOS Settings → LiveWire → Notifications

Communications

  • You can block, mute, or report any user from their profile or a conversation
  • You can delete your message history in any conversation

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account. When you delete your account:

  • Your profile is removed from discovery
  • Your messages, photos, and content are deleted from our servers
  • Your auth record is removed from authentication
  • Reports you filed and reports filed against you may be retained for safety and pattern analysis (see Data Retention below)

This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data access and portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Email schedule1mafia@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed:

  • Account data: Until you delete your account
  • Messages and call records: Until you delete them or your account
  • Reports filed against users: Up to 12 months after the report is resolved, for safety pattern analysis
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: Up to 90 days
  • Backups: Up to 30 days after deletion (we cannot purge from active backups until they roll over)

9. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Encrypted calls and direct messages
  • Industry-standard password security (passwords are never stored in readable form)
  • Strict access controls so users can only access their own data

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

LiveWire is for users 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a user under 13 has created an account, please report it to schedule1mafia@gmail.com and we will delete the account immediately.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). LiveWire is rated 13+ in the App Store, which aligns with our minimum age requirement.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share
  • Right to delete personal information we hold about you
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share your information for advertising)
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, email schedule1mafia@gmail.com with your request. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.

12. International Users

LiveWire is operated from the United States. If you use LiveWire outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

EU/EEA users: We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border data transfers. You have additional rights under GDPR including data access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

  • Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
  • Notify you in the app for significant changes
  • Send you an email if the change materially affects your rights

Continued use of LiveWire after a change means you accept the updated policy.
